Outraged that the killers were let off, Founder Susan Michaels took it upon herself to make a difference in Washington State to make animal cruelty a felony and eventually started a sanctuary for animals. Twenty years later, Lola and the team at Pasado’s Safe Haven have made amazing progress to protect animals in Washington State.
