We are working towards our goal of securing a dedicated space for the Edmonds Food Bank. The pressing need arises from our current limitations: constrained hours for food distribution, inadequate storage capacity, and a lack of room to expand services to our community. Acquiring our own space will enable us to better meet the needs of both our customers and the community at large.
We have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Edmonds Lutheran Church as the first step toward a long-term lease to accommodate construction of a new food bank home on the church property, located just off Highway 99 at 23525 84th Ave. W. Read more about our partnership here:

A new facility for Edmonds Food Bank will bring much needed capacity and opportunity to expand food distribution efforts and reimagine partnerships that support food security.
It will be located on the west side of the property of Edmonds Lutheran Church, located at 23525 84th Ave W, in Edmonds, WA.
It will be approximately 16,000 square feet and will include food bank facilities, a commercial kitchen to address the food bank needs and Annie’s Kitchen, as well as community engagement spaces that will enable our current and future partners to engage with our shared customers.
The goal is to break ground in the fall of 2025 and open our doors in the spring of 2027.
We are in the process of finalizing our budget and the anticipated goal is $14,000,000.
Funding will come from a combination of individual donations, corporate and private contributions and foundations, and public/government sources.
Yes, we will accept pledges up to five years.
We are in the process of identifying companies for the project.
We anticipate being open 6 days a week, but we will make decisions based on the needs of our customers and volunteers as those needs and requirements will potentially change over time.
We will serve Edmonds and the immediate surrounding community for those facing food insecurity.
We have created a draft of an annual operating budget. We don’t anticipate a significant increase in an operating budget as the elimination of rent costs we currently pay will be offset by the costs associated with operating a new facility.
We will keep looking for a new site.
We are currently forming a group of Campaign Champions to lead the planning and fundraising efforts. To get involved please contact Jeremy Peck, Director of Development at development@edmondsfoodbank.org or 425-443-0735.
